Our work addresses a wide range of pressing issues, including water security, climate resilience, infrastructure development, and sustainable resource management. These institutions bring world-class expertise in geodesign, geospatial technologies, climate resilience, clean energy, and community-driven research.
As a leader in geospatial technologies and sustainability research, UMN brings cutting-edge expertise in mapping, satellite imaging, machine learning, and environmental science. The university has a strong track record of working with local communities to develop data-driven, place-based solutions that address pressing environmental and social challenges.
UB contributes expertise in artificial intelligence, data science, and geospatial research, playing a key role in advancing technology-driven solutions for community resilience. With a focus on machine learning applications for sustainability, UB is at the forefront of using AI to address social and environmental challenges.
IIT Kanpur specializes in clean energy, environmental sustainability, and social development research. The institution has led groundbreaking projects on microgrids for rural electrification, low-cost clean water technology, and sustainable agriculture, ensuring that communities have access to affordable, locally viable solutions.
IIT Bombay brings expertise in urban planning, sustainable infrastructure, and geospatial analysis. The institution has been instrumental in developing climate-adaptive strategies for cities and rural areas alike, ensuring that communities are equipped to handle environmental challenges.
